“ We love this place. We traveled Louisiana looking for Cajun food cooked with consistently fresh seafood, wonderful flavored spice combinations with a medium amount of heat. I can't believe we found this restaurant nearby in SW Houston. These savory, slightly spicy seafood dishes are addicting. The prices are surprisingly reasonable (probably due to location and overhead). Comparable to Pappadeaux's in ingredients and style, but in a smaller more homey environment and better prices on food that is cooked with great pride by the owner himself. Located one block north off Southwest Freeway at the corner of Wilcrest Drive and W. Belfort Ave. ”
“ Holy shit! I never start my reviews like this or anything! I came here for my grandpa's birthday and I ordered the snapper Ponchartrain, it was so amazing I completely cleaned out my plate. It was amazing! Definitely coming back!! Let's talk about the service, very good and friendly staff. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance was nice. Plenty of TVs to watch while eating and Spanish music in the background makes the place feel enjoyable. We also ordered Alligator Meatballs and Alligator bites. Those were also very good and tasted good. 10000/10 would definitely recommend!!! ”

It's in a sketchy place surrounded by taco huts and a busyness that's a bit unnerving if you're from a small town, it was Friday at 7 and only one other table was occupied, so I was genuinely concerned about my choice. Also, Outside the window was a woman dancing frantically with two small children at her feet. I think she was looking to 'party'. The owner/waiter was friendly but not really interested in our order. We had to flag him down several times. One time when he was missing in action, we discovered he was outside with the dancer! Anyway, food was good, prices were reasonable and the owner became very personable over time. ”
